Coles’ plans for Gladesville?
Plans are available at Council to view this proposal, which is massive and includes the demolition of the weather board community centre on the corner of Cowell and Wagstaff Streets.
It proposes a podium level at the same level as the top of the outside carpark on Cowell Street. Under the podium, which rises up to 4 storeys by the time it gets to the Wagstaff St corner, are car parking – commercial and residential, a shopping arcade and super market. Above the podium are four eight-storey residential tower blocks.
It has not yet gone out for exhibition, but you can see what is being proposed at the designer’s website (note not architects) http://www.byoungdesigngroup.com/#!services/cihc.
