new ‘Green Book’

‘The Heritage of Hunters Hill’:  new edition targeting Spring 2018

In 2018 it will be 50 years since the Hunters Hill Trust was formed.  In honour of this anniversary we are improving our key publication the ‘Heritage Of Hunters Hill, 2002’ (the Green Book).

The Green Book has helped to protect many houses that faced unsympathetic development over the years.

In addition to the 270 houses already listed we will be including buildings constructed up to the 1920s. We will also take the opportunity to ensure that any valuable heritage buildings that were missed last time are included.

Recently we have partnered with a local publisher and we are currently working through with them, timelines and budget requirements to meet the Spring 2018 publishing deadline and launch an online version.  Heritage grant funding from the NSW State government is also being explored.

Is your house one of the 270 houses already listed?

Is that information complete and correct?

Some valuable heritage buildings have not yet been included. We plan to include buildings constructed up to the 1920s. Do you live in such a house?

Do you have additional information about the heritage of Hunters Hill that could be included in a new print and/or online version?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, please contact us so we can improve our valuable community resource.
