$10,000 fine imposed
After complaints from the Trust, Hunters Hill Council has imposed a $10,000 fine on those responsible for the destruction of identified trees at 39 Bonnefin Road. Developers and renovators need to see that there will be consequences if they fail to fulfill their legal obligations to effectively protect trees during construction work.
